Required Pre-Kindergarten Screening
Jefferson County Schools Family Resource Center offers this “free“ required screening throughout the school year. The screening needs to be completed prior to Kindergarten registration. Vision screenings are also offered, along with a speech/language evaluation, if needed. Referrals are made for further evaluations, and early intervention.
